Lillian Brown - LaGrange, Ga.
Lillian Brown January 30, 1957 - January 25, 2007
"To my mother, my friend, my other half, words could never explain the emptiness that you have left in my heart; but I also know that God truly knows best, which is why he called you to rest.  I know you would want me to be strong for Grandma, Zaria and Stacey.  This is why I must do just that and hold on.  I must now Mama make you proud and be the strong woman you raised me to be.  Don't worry Mama I will try to fill your shoes down here on earth, because you have truly touched a lot of lives which is why you have always been the best.  You've taken a part of me, but that's okay.  I know we will meet again very soon one day.  So sleep on Mama and get your rest and just be ready for me and open up the gates, Love you know always and forever, Kenisha"

Lillian, who was affectionately known to her family and close friends as "Baby Sister", graduated from Lagrange High School with the class of 1975.  She was an ambitious young woman with a strong work ethic.  She joined the staff of WTRP Radio Station, then worked for West Georgia Medical Center for 20 years.  Later she worked part time for K Mart and Walmart, she enjoyed working and meeting people with a smile and a sense of humor that we will all remember.  Lillian's kind and gentle ways attracted many people who loved and valued her as a friend, cousin, aunt, sister grandmother, loving daughter and a dedicated mother.

Her final tribute and service was provided by Mackey-Wilson-Jenings Funeral Home, Inc.  LaGrange, Ga.

There's so much about you
Your warmth and your caring
And your beautiful spirit
That make it hard to imagine
How life would have been without you
And make it so easy to love you
You're a very special person
And having you for a sister is truly a blessing from God.

But now he's gone on to see his Savior's face.... There's no need to grieve or try to say our goodbyes because we have our memories to hold onto the love, the laughter we all once shared.....  My uncle used to say he hoped his departing pulls us together to be able to stick together through any stormy weather.  So at the end he'll know he did his best so his spirit can live on."  Ms Tea Bennett

Miss Chelsea Leann Gilliland

On Sunday, December 10, 2006, the Lord called Chelsea Leann Gilliland Home.  She will be remembered as a lively, loving, and daring soul.  Chelsea brought life to everyday events.  She was born on March 3, 1989 in Rome, Georgia.  Early in her young life she was diagnosed with Alstrom Syndrome.  Chelsea was a senior at LaFayette High School and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Chelsea enjoyed life to the fullest.  She loved doing arts and crafts.  Chelsea also liked to sing and dance - she even wrote her own songs.  She took in many animals and always kept a lot of stuffed animals.  Chelsea always wanted to help others - she pledged money, donated her beautiful hair and all the while kept smiling.  Of all the things Chelsea loved, she loved her family most.  Many were blessed to have had Chelsea in their lives and she will be dearly missed!  Final arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, LaFayette Chapel.

Chelsea loved animals!
