Anna was born to the late Sam Barnes and Gladys Tomlinson in Atlanta. She was the second oldest of three children. Anna was baptized at an early age at Big Bethel Baptist Church in Cobb County, Georgia. She did domestic work for several families and was dearly loved by the families she served.
She had one daughter, Debra Ann Cook and was married to the late Julius E Woods. Anna never complained, she endured life's health challenges, until she transitioned from this earthly life and entered into eternal life and peace with the Lord. She will be missed by her family, many friends and longtime companion Bobby Cook.

Salute to Rev Jesse Sherron
Reverend Jesse D. Sherrron, was born August 16, 1938, in Columbus, Ms. He was the son of the late Samuel Sherron and Sarah Hicks. He was educated in the Columbus Public School System. Jesus Christ became Lord of his life at an early age and received his calling to the ministry in 1968. He became pastor of his first church in 1969 and was the pastor of United Christian for twenty one years. He dedicated his life to serving his congregations and his community tirelessly and unselfishly as he fulfilled his great commission of "Getting People Back to the Cross". Pastor Sherron was trusted and loved throughout the community - a stranger he never met.
On October 16, 1960 he married the love of his life - his Queen - Ms. Leola Anthony. This union was blessed with 13 children. He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memories, his devoted wife, his children, 26 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Evangelist Brenda R. Garrett
Evangelist Brenda Rose Garrett was born December 21, 1952, to the late Alonzo Tennie, Jr. and Emma Mae Tennie in Newnan, Georgia. She received the Lord in her life at a very young age while at Zion Hill Baptist Church. In the early 70's Brenda became a faithful and dedicated servant to a ministry by the name of Revelation of God Deliverance Holiness Church. There, she received the ordination of Ministry under the tutelage of Pastor Lonnie Ruth Harper. Continuing her walk of faith, she later became a part of Mt. Zion Holiness Church, now called City of Zion Holiness Church.
In 2005, she was blessed to see and become a part of the fruits of her labor when her daughter Pastor Vicki Parks accepted the calling of ministry and established God's Own Disciple Outreach Ministry.
She was employed at Pet Smart Distribution Center where she was known as the lovely "Mrs. B". While there, she was an inspiration to any and all who were around her. She loved her "Pet Smart Family".
She was the mother of 4 children, grandmother of 17, and had 2 great grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of twenty two years, Elder Charlie W Garrett. She will be missed by her brothers, sisters, family, and friends.

Earnest Jackson Mungo, Jr.
Ernest Jackson Mungo, Jr., was born December 1, 1930 to the late Reverend Earnest Jacksn Mungo Sr. and the late Keturah Reid Mungo. He was the eldest of eight children. He departed this life on December 7, 2007 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
EJ, as he was affectionately known, was converted at an early age and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Kershaw, South Carolina, which is father founded. Upon graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Army where he fought in the Korean War and was awarded the distinguished Purple Heart. Upon his return from the war, EJ enrolled in the McAllister School of Embalming in New York where he graduated in December 1950.
He opened Mungo Funeral Home in Kershaw, South Carolina. During this time he married the late Eddilue Asgill Mungo and to this union three children were born. After operating funeral homes in Kershaw and Lancaster, SC, then later in New York he moved to Walterboro where he opened the present Mungo Funeral Home.
While in Walterboro EJ was affiliated with numerous organizations which included: The Walterboro Chamber of Commerce, The Walterboro Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen, St James Masonic Lodge #75, 32nd Degree Consistory and the Shriners Walterboro Temple #20.
EJ was a humanitarian, a philanthropist and he was considered a "father" to many. He gave his time and his service to those in need throughout South Carolina.
On January 2, 1986, he married Ella M. Way and to this union a son was born. He also leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, one stepdaughter, five sisters, one son, four grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers as well as his first born son Ernie Jacquet Mungo.
